Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra was 23 years old and a mother of two young children. She lived with her boyfriend, Keycy Robinson Alexi Barrera-Rosa, and her children at a home on Adams Court in Waldorf, Maryland. Several other individuals also shared the residence. Very little has been released publicly about Lesbia's background, but those who knew her case described the loss as devastating for a community and the tragedy of two children losing their mother.
On the evening of March 31, 2025, surveillance footage captured Lesbia entering her home. She never came out. In the early morning hours of April 1, witnesses heard a violent argument between her and her boyfriend. By midday on April 1, Barrera-Rosa was seen on surveillance footage retrieving a large plastic bin from a backyard shed and loading it into his truck. He then drove to meet his uncle in Prince George's County.
Lesbia's body was recovered on April 17 and 18, 2025, buried in a plastic bin in a wooded area near Cedarville State Park in Prince George's County, approximately where cellular data showed Barrera-Rosa and his uncle had been on April 1. Her two children were left without their mother. She was 23 years old.
Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra was last seen on surveillance footage entering her home on Adams Court in Waldorf on the evening of March 31, 2025. She never left. Her boyfriend, Keycy Robinson Alexi Barrera-Rosa, reported her missing to the Charles County Sheriff's Office on April 2, claiming she had disappeared. Detectives who responded quickly determined the circumstances were suspicious. A search warrant was executed at the home. Lesbia was not there. During that search, investigators found federal documents belonging to Barrera-Rosa that appeared to be fraudulent. The Charles County Sheriff's Office contacted ICE, which confirmed the documents were forged. Barrera-Rosa was taken into custody by ICE Baltimore agents on April 5 on unrelated immigration charges.
Witnesses reported a violent argument between Lesbia and Barrera-Rosa in the early morning hours of April 1. Surveillance footage from that afternoon showed Barrera-Rosa retrieving a large plastic bin from a backyard shed and placing it in his truck. Cellular data confirmed he then traveled to Prince George's County and met his uncle, Rolvin Eduardo Barrera-Barrera, at a construction site in Glen Dale. The two then drove together to a secluded wooded area near Cedarville State Park.
In a police interview, Barrera-Barrera told detectives that Barrera-Rosa had confessed to strangling Lesbia and asked for help concealing her body. Barrera-Barrera stated that Lesbia was already dead and inside a plastic bin in the truck when they met. He admitted to helping bury the body. On April 17 and 18, 2025, detectives using that information, along with the cellular tower data, located Lesbia's body buried in a plastic bin at the location described, consistent with where phone records showed the two men had been on April 1.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division led the investigation with support from the Prince George's County Police Department, ICE, and federal law enforcement. The case broke quickly because Barrera-Rosa's missing person report itself triggered the investigation that exposed him. When detectives searched the home, they found fraudulent federal documents, which led to his ICE arrest. That arrest, combined with surveillance footage, witness accounts, and cellular data, built a rapidly closing case around him.
Surveillance footage was central to establishing the timeline. Detectives confirmed Lesbia entered the home on March 31 and never exited. Afternoon footage on April 1 captured Barrera-Rosa's movements with the plastic bin. Cellular tower analysis placed him and Barrera-Barrera at the burial site in Prince George's County on the same afternoon. Barrera-Barrera's confession to detectives, in which he reported that his nephew admitted to strangling Lesbia and asked for help hiding the body, provided the direct account of the crime. Forensic analysis of the site confirmed his account.
The red Toyota 4Runner, which had been at the Adams Court residence on the day Lesbia was reported missing, was identified early in the investigation as a vehicle of interest. Both defendants are held without bond. The case is being prosecuted in Charles County. ICE confirmed it would fully prosecute Barrera-Rosa in Maryland before any deportation proceedings.
Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra was 23 years old. She was a mother. She had two children who shared that home on Adams Court with her, who were there when their mother was killed, and who are now left to grow up without her. She was at her own home, where she should have been safe, on the last evening of her life.
The man who killed her then walked into a police station and filed a missing person report. He sat across from detectives and told them she had disappeared. Those detectives did not believe him, and because they did not stop working, they found her. Sheriff Troy D. Bowman said he was grateful to all those who worked to find Lesbia, and offered his most sincere condolences to her family. That condolence cannot return her to her children. But accountability for what was done to her is moving forward.
Lesbia Ramirez Guerra was 23 years old. She was a mother. She deserved to live. She is not forgotten.
