About Gabrielle

Gabrielle "Gabby" Terrelonge

Gabrielle Patricia Terrelonge, known to her family as Gabby, was 10 years old when she went missing. She turned 10 on June 25, 2025, five days before she was last seen. She is described by her father Gordon Terrelonge as outgoing and very vibrant, but also shy around adults. She talks easily to other children. Her father says she loves the color pink, Funyun chips, pizza, wearing princess costumes, coloring, and having tea parties.

Gabby spent most of her life being homeschooled. Her father said they would buy her the book for each grade and she was taught at home, with only a brief attempt at attending school in South Florida. She was last enrolled at a school in Port St. Lucie from April 2024 to November 2024, when she and her mother left and moved to a Motel 6.

Gabby's family has described her as having a close bond with her mother, even during times of hardship. Her father said that even when circumstances were difficult, Gabby preferred to be with her mother. He also said she is the kind of child who, if she were alone, would approach someone and ask to speak with her father. The fact that no one has heard from her is something he described as deeply worrying.

Gabby's paternal grandmother Jonett Vassel has been in Orlando hanging flyers with her granddaughter's photo on them. Her aunt has told reporters her worst fear is that Gabrielle is not alive. Her father has said he is not giving up.

01
Background

What We Know

Gabrielle Terrelonge and her mother Passha Davis, 34, had a history of unstable housing. From April 2024 to November 2024 they lived with Gabrielle's paternal aunt in Port St. Lucie, where Gabby was enrolled in school for a period. After Thanksgiving 2024, Davis and Gabrielle left the aunt's home for a Motel 6. The aunt had been trying to gain custody of Gabrielle, citing Davis's erratic behavior and instability.

In March 2025, Margate police found Davis and Gabrielle sleeping in a car in Broward County. The Florida Department of Children and Families intervened and helped them travel to Orlando rather than removing Gabrielle from her mother's custody. Between mid-March and April, Davis and Gabrielle were with Gordon Terrelonge in the Orlando and Kissimmee areas. After a dispute in Kissimmee in April, Davis left with Gabrielle and Terrelonge did not see his daughter again.

On June 30, 2025, surveillance and bus manifests confirm that Davis and Gabrielle traveled together by Greyhound from Broward County to Orlando, arriving at the Florida Mall in the evening. A witness on the bus confirmed seeing them arrive. That is the last confirmed sighting of Gabrielle.

On October 17, 2025, Margate Police stopped Davis on suspicion of shoplifting at a Dollar Tree on South State Road 7. Davis refused to identify herself and was arrested for resisting and providing false identification. Gabrielle was not with her. On October 29, Gordon Terrelonge discovered through online jail records that Davis had been arrested and contacted Margate Police to ask who was caring for Gabrielle. Police and Terrelonge learned simultaneously that Gabrielle was unaccounted for. A Missing Child Alert was issued on November 3, 2025.
